Comments: Discontinued; manufacturer recommendations: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 37kDa band in Human, Mouse and Rat Brain lysates at 0.3ug/ml. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 43.8kDa according to NP_055107.3 (CBX6) and 43.4 kDa according to NP_065700.1 (CBX8). We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported? This antibody is expected to recognise both the human proteins CBX6 and CBX8, which are almost identical. ELISA.; ELISA
