Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, 67, 6, 1272-1277): "gamma 1 MSH was conjugated to BSA by the carbodiimide method based on the procedure described by Orth (8). Balb/c mice were hyperimmunized with the gamma 1 MSH conjugate as described previously (5). Hybridomas secreting MAbs to gamma 1 MSH were produced by methods described previously for the production of MAb to ACTH (5)."
