Comments: Discontinued; manufacturer recommendations: IgG; IgG Western Blot; WB: Use at a dilution of 1/1000. This concentration is determined using Elk1 fusion protein phosphorylated with purified Erk2. Low levels of endogenous Elk1 protein present in most cell types makes it difficult to detect by immunoblotting. Overexpression of Elk1 by transfection or immunoprecipitation, followed by immunoblotting will help improve detection. Predicted molecular weight: 45 kDa. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. Western Blot.
