Comments: Discontinued; manufacturer recommendations: ELISA; Western Blot; ELISA, Western Blot. Approx 150kDa band observed in Mouse Brain lysates (calculated MW of 118kDa according to Mouse NP_001074520.1). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Velayos-Baeza, Hum Mol Genet. 2008 Mar 15;17(6):859-71; PMID: 18063668). Recommended concentration: 0.5-1.5µg/ml. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 25kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
