Comments: Bst-HF is a high-fidelity strand displacing polymerase that is able to overcome complex/problematic sequences, allowing amplification of large fragments and DNA sequences with over 80% GC content. Bst-HF has an error rate of about 7.8x10^-7, a fidelity about 20 times higher than standard Bst, and better than Phusion High-Fidelity DNA Polymerase in High-GC buffer. The plasmids in the Open Enzyme collection contain genetic parts and are not functional by themselves. Researchers can clone these enzymes into an expression vector of their choice and then transform into E. coli bacteria for expression and purification.
