Bacterial Resistance: Chloramphenicol and Ampicillin
Vector Backbone Description: Backbone Marker:Evelyne Ruchti and Brian McCabe; Backbone Size:13560; Vector Backbone:pBID2; Vector Types:Insect Expression, Gateway Destination vector; Bacterial Resistance:Chloramphenicol and Ampicillin
Comments: The insert begins with a Gateway attR destination cloning cassette (for insertion of gene regulatory sequences), followed by a DSCP synthetic core promoter, a Syn21 translation enhancer, a Gal4 transcription factor followed by a p10 3' untranslated region. The insert is flanked by Gypsy insulator sequences to enable more homogeneous transgene expression at diverse genetic insertion sites. The backbone includes a phiC31 attB sequence for targeted transgenesis and a mini-white gene to allow transgene selection. w uniform transghenes expression.
