Comments: The plasmid confers Kan resistance (25ug/ml) and Tet resistance (12.5ug/ml). However, it requires pir factor for replication. Note that this plasmid is supplied on a stab with only Tet. When re-plating, end users should add Kan as well. Also note that the plasmid is only considered high copy in the pir-116 strain. In a WT pir strain, it is considered low copy.
