Description: Core facility whose goal is to encourage and facilitate effective diabetes translation research among vulnerable minority populations, especially African and Hispanic Americans. They have three sub-units which include the Community-Based Participatory Research Unit/Planning Unit, the Behavioral Intervention Unit, and the Assessment, Design, and Analysis Unit. Services include a variety of assessments (psychological, dietary, community health surveys, physical activity) as well as research and implementation.
