Description: Core that provides phenotyping of cardiovascular system in mouse models of metabolic disease and an easily accessible cardiovascular disease model pipeline. It services include 2D and M-mode echocardiography in lightly-anesthetized mice to non-invasively assess cardiac structure and function using state-of-the-art high-frequency, high-resolution in vivo digital imaging platform as well as Transverse Aortic Constriction (TAC) model to investigate pressure-overload hypertrophy, congestive heart failure, and aortic stenosis.
