Vector Backbone Description: Backbone Size:4047; Vector Backbone:pSpy3C; Vector Types:Bacterial Expression; Bacterial Resistance:Chloramphenicol
Defining Citation: PMID:38911550
Comments: The multiple cloning site (EcoRI, XbaI, SpeI and PstI) contains the Plac_mrfp cassette. The mrfp reporter allows for red-white screening during sub-cloning in E. coli (DH5a). When the Plac_mrfp cassette is replaced with the insert of interest, colonies will appear white.
Resource Information: To create pSpy3C, we took the minimal pWV01* replicon from pBAV1K-T5-gfp (Plasmid #26702), the chloramphenicol resistance cassette from pIB166 (Plasmid #90189) and the MCS featuring the Plac_mrfp cassette from pBS3Clux (#55172).

Can't find your Plasmid?
We recommend that you click next to the search bar to check some helpful tips on searches and refine your search firstly. If you want to find a specific plasmid, it's easier to enter an RRID or an Addgene Catalog Number to search. You can refine the search results using Facets on the left side of the search results page. If you are on the table view, you can also search in a specific column by clicking the column title and enter the keywords.
If you still could not find your plasmid in the search results, please help us by registering it into the system — it's easy. Register it with Addgene.
