  • RRID:Addgene_98508

http://www.addgene.org/98508

Species: Other
Genetic Insert: RPL2A promoter
Vector Backbone Description: Backbone Size:1936; Vector Backbone:BB1; Vector Types:Bacterial Expression; Bacterial Resistance:Kanamycin
Defining Citation: PMID:29221460
Comments: Please note that 1 mismatch ( bp1613 a>g) in the RPL2A promoter sequence was found during Addgene's Quality Control Process. The depositing lab noted that this mismatch is likely due to errors in the initial genome sequence and should NOT affect the function of the plasmid.

Proper citation: RRID:Addgene_98508 Copy

  • RRID:Addgene_98514

http://www.addgene.org/98514

Species: Other
Genetic Insert: AOX1 promoter
Vector Backbone Description: Backbone Size:1936; Vector Backbone:BB1; Vector Types:Bacterial Expression; Bacterial Resistance:Kanamycin
Defining Citation: PMID:29221460
Comments: Please note that some discrepancies in the RPL2A promoter sequence were found during Addgene's Quality Control Process. The depositing lab noted that these discrepancies are likely due to errors in the initial genome sequence and should NOT affect the function of the plasmid. This plasmid has been found to be prone to dimerization. Plasmid dimers often do not impact plasmid function, but may reduce transformation efficiencies. You may need to screen multiple colonies to isolate the monomeric version of this plasmid. If you still have trouble isolating the monomeric version, you might consider linearizing, gel extracting, re-ligating, and transforming the plasmid.
