Species: HIV-I
Genetic Insert: NL43-dGPE-EGFP
Vector Backbone Description: Backbone Size:2686; Vector Backbone:pUC18; Vector Types:Mammalian Expression, Lentiviral, Retroviral; Bacterial Resistance:Ampicillin
Comments: This plasmid is based on pfNL43-dE-EGFP.
Addgene's sequencing results identified 4 nucleotide mismatches at bp# 1634 & 2223-2225 when compared to the full plasmid sequence provided by the depositing laboratory, are remnants of the deleted pol gene and are not a concern for the function of the plasmid. According to the depositing laboratory, this plasmid still produces infectious virus when gag, pol and env are supplied in trans.

Vector Backbone Description: Backbone Marker:Promega; Backbone Size:3000; Vector Backbone:pGEM-T; Vector Types:Bacterial Expression, Riboprobe Synthesis; Bacterial Resistance:Ampicillin
Defining Citation: PMID:9425136
Comments: Please note that Addgene's sequencing results indicate the Hox B7a insert in this plasmid starts at amino acid 143 when compared to GenBank entry NP_001108563.1. The depositing laboratory believes these are allelic differences common with outbred strains and this is the exact plasmid they used in the associated publication.
