RRID:Addgene_8842 Ampicillin PMID:8635750 This plasmid expression vector enables a protein of interest to be produced with a biotin acceptor peptide (BAP) fused directly to its N-terminus, or, alternatively, as a fusion to the C-terminus of E. coli maltose-binding protein with the BAP on its N-terminus. pDW363 also overproduces biotin holoenzyme synthetase (BirA) to ensure efficient biotinylation of BAP-tagged proteins in vivo. Add biotin to the medium (50 mM) when cultivating cells that contain pDW363 or it derivatives. Backbone Marker:New England Biolabs; Backbone Size:6700; Vector Backbone:pMal-C2; Vector Types:Bacterial Expression; Bacterial Resistance:Ampicillin 2026-09-01 10:04:35 3

RRID:Addgene_8831 TEV protease, S219D mutant tobacco etch virus Kanamycin PMID:10873547 This TEV protease expression vector is intended to be used for controlled intracellular processing of fusion proteins (TEV protease substrates) in E. coli. Expression of the TEV protease gene on pRK603 will be constitutive unless the host strain produces Tet repressor. Regulated expression can be achieved in DH5alphaPro or BL21Pro cells (Clontech). Backbone Marker:Herman Bujard Lab; Backbone Size:6700; Vector Backbone:pZA31; Vector Types:Bacterial Expression; Bacterial Resistance:Kanamycin S219D mutant 2026-09-01 10:04:35 2

RRID:Addgene_8888 PGC-1 alpha promoter dCRE Mus musculus Ampicillin PMID:12764228 5' flanking sequence of mouse PGC-1 alpha gene PCR amplified between +78 and -2533 with respect to the transcriptional start site. Mutation of the CRE site between -146 and -129 from TGACGTCA to TAGATCTA. NOTE: The full sequence from the depositor is theoretical. There are several discrepancies between Addgene's quality control sequence and the full sequence provided here, but those discrepancies do not appear to affect function. Several labs have published successfully with this plasmid. Backbone Marker:Promega; Backbone Size:4818; Vector Backbone:pGL3-basic; Vector Types:Mammalian Expression, Luciferase; Bacterial Resistance:Ampicillin Site-directed mutagenesis to remove the CREB binding site. 2026-09-01 10:04:38 11

RRID:Addgene_8883 SREBP-1c Mus musculus Ampicillin PMID:8336713 Note that this is a mouse SREBP-1c, while the paper reference is a rat SREBP-1c. SREBP-1c differs from SREBP1a over amino acids 3-5 and contains a deletion of amino acids 6-29. See Figure 1c of the associated publication for more information. Addgene's sequencing results identified a deletion of aa90-131 of SREBP1c compared to GenBank sequence NP_035610.1. Backbone Marker:Invitrogen; Backbone Size:3160; Vector Backbone:pSV-Sport; Vector Types:Mammalian Expression; Bacterial Resistance:Ampicillin Active version of SREBP-1c. 2026-09-01 10:04:38 4

Can't find your Plasmid?

We recommend that you click next to the search bar to check some helpful tips on searches and refine your search firstly. If you want to find a specific plasmid, it's easier to enter an RRID or an Addgene Catalog Number to search. You can refine the search results using Facets on the left side of the search results page. If you are on the table view, you can also search in a specific column by clicking the column title and enter the keywords.

If you still could not find your plasmid in the search results, please help us by registering it into the system — it's easy. Register it with Addgene.
