Vector Backbone Description: Backbone Marker:self-made; Backbone Size:4824; Vector Backbone:pAGM4351; Vector Types:Unspecified; Bacterial Resistance:Kanamycin
Defining Citation: PMID:21364738
Comments: PLEASE NOTE- It has recently come to light that plasmid pAGM4723 lacks a complete overdrive sequence at the right border. This can cause incomplete TDNA insertion events and can give a higher incidence of vector backbone transfer events due to transfer initiating at the left border.
Level 2 cloning vector, replicates in E.coli and Agrobacterium, binary vector for Agrobacterium T-DNA delivery to plant cells.
Please note that bacterial colonies for this plasmid often appear red in color because the plasmid contains a red color selectable marker (CRed--an artificial bacterial operon responsible for canthaxanthin biosynthesis).

Can't find your Plasmid?
We recommend that you click next to the search bar to check some helpful tips on searches and refine your search firstly. If you want to find a specific plasmid, it's easier to enter an RRID or an Addgene Catalog Number to search. You can refine the search results using Facets on the left side of the search results page. If you are on the table view, you can also search in a specific column by clicking the column title and enter the keywords.
If you still could not find your plasmid in the search results, please help us by registering it into the system — it's easy. Register it with Addgene.
