Vector Backbone Description: Backbone Size:5200; Vector Backbone:pEGFP-C1+mRFP; Vector Types:Mammalian Expression; Bacterial Resistance:Kanamycin

Comments: Compbell RE, Tour O, Palmer AE, Steinbach PA, Baird GS, Zacharian DA, Tsien RY, A monomeric red fluorescent protein, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA. 2002, 99(12):7877-82 NOTE FROM AUTHORS: We found several alterations between our plasmid and the version on NCBI [Map1lc3b; https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/64862) ]. Our original clone may be a kind of variant. In the C-terminal end of tfLC3, the stop codon is removed, which causes an additional 17 amino acid residues. However, the C-terminal end from Gly120, including the 17 amino acids, is immediately cut off by Atg4 protease after the translation. Therefore that sequence variant will not affect the function of the protein.

Can't find your Plasmid?

We recommend that you click next to the search bar to check some helpful tips on searches and refine your search firstly. If you want to find a specific plasmid, it's easier to enter an RRID or an Addgene Catalog Number to search. You can refine the search results using Facets on the left side of the search results page. If you are on the table view, you can also search in a specific column by clicking the column title and enter the keywords.

If you still could not find your plasmid in the search results, please help us by registering it into the system — it's easy. Register it with Addgene.
